Is your hardware getting enough air supply? Also, check the power supply. Is it providing proper power to the motherboard or not.

  OPTION  THREE
____________________________

RAM issues are among those potentially causing random lockups.

Click the Windows 'start' button (used to be a start button anyhow) and type "memory" in the run/search box and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. Choose 'Restart now...' or 'Check for problems...' as appropriate and let it run the check against your memory. It will display the results when windows next load.
